I’d like to encourage more women to start startups, particularly those who, like me at 25, are not sure it’s even an option.

My friends at Grubwithus (YC W11) are going to help me by organizing a series of dinners in the Bay Area next month for women interested in learning more about startups. YC alumni (and I in a few cases) will be at the dinners to meet you and answer your questions. Learn more about the Grubwithus dinners here.

Sounds fabulous! I definitely want to check this out! Thx for organizing Jessica!

This is exactly what I've been looking forward to! Thanks for organizing!

Excellent idea! Would love to join, perhaps when I'm visiting the Valley some day soon :)

Other minorities

Great idea! Do you think you will be doing similar dinners for other minorities, at some point in the future?

Alas - sold out. Every last one of them. :( But a wonderful concept.

I'd like to found, or co-found an incubator one day (once my current baby is launched and humming). Focused on auto and defense tech - where startups feel grossly overshadowed by big OEMs. There is so much opportunity in these fields for women and men. Hope to join a dinner the next time around.

Jessica - I'd love to do a similar dinner in Los Angeles. Let me know if you have any plans to be out here or if you'd like any help coordinating.

Jessica, do you have anything in the works for NYC? I'd love to help organize if possible.

And good luck to Juliana with her current baby!

Sounds like an awesome idea!

I wish I lived in the Bay Area. Any chance of a DC dinner?

Amazing idea -- I'd love to help organize / attend any similar NYC dinners as well!

An excellent idea. Thanks for supporting more women to become founders. I hope you'll organize more dinners. It looks like this month's are sold out.

i see there's only one seat left, will you be doing this next month also?

I'm super bummed to see them all sold out. Is there any way you'll add another or do more next month?

They all seem sold out

I'd come to a NYC meeting.
